I've begun a "Room of the Day" series on Buttercup to explore my interest in rooms with a lot of pink in them.  More specifically, modern (cleaner) country style with punches of color and airiness -- lots of white -- some references to Swedish design ... I find a lot of what I like misses the mark ever so slightly.  Either because the print on the wallpaper (or a single chair) is too big and busy, or there is some too-modern, jarring element (even a contemporary painting or print can turn me off).

I do like contemporary, but not too much of it.
